openiranglobal.com — Established 2025
A global platform connecting verified capital, talent, legal expertise, and governance leadership to Iran’s post-transition reconstruction. Founded on a decade of real, documented experience from inside Iran.
“A nation’s future is not built on the day of its liberation.
It is built by those who refused to wait.”
Our Mission
7,000 years of history. 90 million people. The world’s largest combined oil and gas reserves. 30 million educated young people. And a global diaspora that has built companies, won Nobel prizes, and shaped science, law, medicine, and technology across five continents.
What Iran has suffered is not a lack of capacity. It is a theft of potential. For 46 years, a regime built on ideology rather than competence has systematically looted Iran’s resources, silenced its brightest minds, and spent billions in freed capital on missiles and proxy wars instead of building the nation its people deserve.
That era is ending. Open Iran Global exists to make sure the right people are ready when it does — with verified capital, global expertise, legal frameworks, and governance leadership already in place before the moment arrives.

Our Track Record
Our founder lived inside Iran from 2014 to 2018. He didn’t watch the sanctions relief from a distance — he built a platform inside it, brought investors to the table, stood on international conference stages warning about the structural obstacles, and watched the regime take $150 billion in freed capital and spend it on weapons. He left in 2018. He is building again — this time, for what replaces it.
Dr. Siamak Goudarzi resigns from the Iranian judiciary on moral grounds — refusing to serve a system that used law as a weapon against the people it was meant to protect. His father, Judge Mahmoud Goudarzi, later dies during Iran’s 2009 Green Movement.
PhD in International Business Law, University of Portsmouth. ICC-listed counsel. Academic posts in the UK and Iran. A decade of international legal practice building the expertise that would power Open Iran Group.
Registered in England & Wales (Co. No. 10856030). First year attracts 118,000 website visitors — ranking above the UK Government’s Department of Trade for Iran investment searches.
Living and operating inside Iran. UK multi-sector trade mission to Iran. Conferences and investment events across Tehran, Kish Island, Moscow, and Kazakhstan. Warning publicly about IRGC economic dominance blocking serious investment.
3 consecutive years as local partner for Hydropower Caspian Congress, Tbilisi. Azernews interview (2017). The Emerging Markets Podcast by Pequod Advisors (May 2019, 31 min).
Sanctions returned. The regime took $150 billion and spent it on missiles, not markets. Dr. Goudarzi leaves Iran. Open Iran Group suspended.
The uprising following Mahsa Amini’s death marks a fundamental shift. For the first time since 1979, ordinary Iranians assert a simple, irreducible demand: the right to live as themselves.
A new wave of protests erupts across all 31 provinces of Iran. Open Iran Global stands with the Iranian people — not with any party, but with the people, in their right to live freely and reclaim their future.

The Founder
Founder, Open Iran Global
ICC-Listed Counsel • PhD International Business Law • Former Judge, Iran“I was inside Iran when the regime took $150 billion and spent it on missiles. I warned about the IRGC on every stage I stood on. The record proved me right. I am not building again because I forgot what happened. I am building again because I know exactly why it did.”
Dr. Siamak Goudarzi served as a judge in Iran’s judiciary before resigning in 2001 on moral grounds. He completed a PhD in International Business Law at the University of Portsmouth, built an international legal practice, and founded Open Iran Group in 2015 — living inside Iran from 2014 to 2018 as he built it.
Founding Manifesto
This is the document that defines everything. Read it. Share it. It is freely available.
Iran is not a broken country waiting to be fixed.
It is a compressed civilisation — 7,000 years of history, 90 million people, the world’s largest combined oil and gas reserves, and a global diaspora that has shaped science, law, medicine, and technology across five continents.
That era is ending. The question is not whether Iran can rebuild. Iran will rebuild. The question is: who is ready, and who is not.
We Have Done This Before — And We Witnessed What Went Wrong.
Our founder lived inside Iran from 2014 to 2018. He stood on international conference stages warning about the IRGC’s economic stranglehold. The Islamic Republic received $150 billion in freed funds — and spent it on missiles, not markets.
We saw all of it. From inside Iran. In real time. This time, we are building the infrastructure for what comes after it.
This Time, Iran Is Open to the Entire World.
A free Iran means the IRGC no longer controls the economy. It means sectors it captured — energy, construction, telecoms, banking, shipping — are open to genuine private and foreign investment. It means the investment case does not improve. It transforms.
A Personal Word.
I left Iran’s judicial system in 2001 because I could not serve a system that used law as a weapon. I moved back in 2014, built Open Iran Group from the inside — and watched the regime take $150 billion and spend it on missiles.
It is built from the hard-won knowledge of someone who has been inside the system and understands — better than most — exactly why it must end.
